Manga: Ai ga Kami wo Korosu Toki

Also known as, "A Love that Conquers God" by Akira Honma. At the time I posted this entry, the manga is not fully scanlated yet.

This manga has a gorgeous seme. I cannot say much how much I like or love the story because I have not read the whole volume. I fell in-love with the characters, though. ^_^

I think this is a good recommendation for newbies of yaoi audience. I can't call it a "light manga" because there are sex scenes in 2 chapters, nor it is hardcore either. The story is about an unrequited love that awakens in the next generation, It is also about a complicated relationship: between a normal Japanese student and a feared mafia personality.

Takeru (Uke)

He failed his university exam twice so he decided to visit NYC. On his first day there, his belongings including his wallet were stolen so he run after the thieves and ended up in a dark alley of thugs. While escaping from the bad guys, he run into Ray. He asked to be saved and he was given shelter. With his passport and belongings all gone, Ray helped him re-made his papers so he can go back home. While staying with Ray at the mansion, he was instructed not to go to the main area but did not follow his instruction so he found out that Ray is in the mafia. He also witnessed him killing a man. Ray ended up shooting himself in order to protect him. Ray survived and brought him to a secret hide-out. They made love the second time and the next morning, he told him to go back to Japan and they will never see each other again. But he did not follow his instructions (again?), so he waited for him to come back. In the end he made Ray promise that he will see him no matter how long the waiting takes...

In reality, he is the son of a NYC mafia boss from his Japanese servant. His mother is also the "first love" of Ray. He resembles her so much that's why Ray accepted to take care of him. He did not know about this, so he believes that his parents are both Japanese. He grew up in Canada until he was 5 years old, that's why he can speak a bit of English. 

One time, in trying to pay his gratitude to Ray, he rushed to "Razzbell", the stubborn dog of  the Mafia boss,  and got himself bitten.

Ray (Seme)

He is regarded as the 2nd leader of the NYC Mafia, "Cosa Nostra". His boss is currently in coma and the leadership of the gang is in chaos because the boss has no more offspring to be the next head. But he proposed to Chester (a right hand guy), that they might be able to find the "other" son from the past Japanese servant whom their boss loved so much, whom he also loved. He accidentally found this illegitimate son while he was in a NY alley and was about to go inside the car. He bumped into Takeru while the young man was chased by goons. He wouldn't help him if he did not resemble his first love, which means, Takeru might be the lost son of his boss. He took him in the mansion and was asked by Chester to get a DNA sample to make sure if he is whom they were looking for. Caressing Takeru's face and hair, he managed to take a strand of hair which later Chester teased him about because the latter was expecting him to do something "more". On the night that he told Takeru to transfer to a hotel, he was confessed at and they ended up making love. That same night, Takeru found out, that he is a member of a mafia organization. He shot himself in order to protect Takeru and while everyone thought that the young man was dead, he took him to a secret hide-out. This hide-out is the place where his boss and his lover (Takeru's mother) would meet in the past. There, he revealed to Takeru that he works in a mafia and normally they kill those who gained knowledge of their organization without being a part of it. Takeru swayed by his honesty and  love for him, made love to him but only to be told the next day that he needs to forget Ray. 

Eventually, the DNA test result revealed that Takeru is the son of their boss. To protect him from the mafia life, Ray lied that he is not that's why he was asked to kill the young man. Due to fear and anxiety, Takeru collapsed and Ray shot himself. Thankfully he wore a bullet-proof chest gear so the wound was not very deep. Chester shielded him while they were running away (and while Takeru was unconscious.)

 He is respected as 2nd in command to the NYC mafia organization. He follows their boss's will and always watching out for Takeru's sake ever since they met.

Manga: Beast and Feast

This is one of the recent mangas in my collection by Akira Norikazu. I know there are older scanlated mangas waiting for me to reveal the characters  but I couldn't help myself  to share it - ASAP! ^___^
Since it's been recently completed by Fantasy Shrine, I will write brief description of the characters. Yaoi-god knows I can get overboard with details, but this time I will refrain myself  for those who have not read it yet. *put handcuffs on my libido*

If you are looking for a hard yaoi, not very long series, has no female-look-alike uke, a beastly seme, and with a taste of bondage, then this is the manga for you.

The couple here have intervening careers. This is a story between a Yakuza and a Detective, with humor and more yaoi love to entertain you!

Hishinuma Kazuha (Uke)

Kazuha is a detective and a former class representative during his Junior HS, where he met Hyodo. He confiscated cigarettes from him and used his Judo techniques to subdue the famous delinquent in school. After that, Hyodo followed him around. He learned Judo because he is short. Compare to Hyodo, who has great physique and commanding presence, he is an inferior so he was secretly happy when he was being chased by him.  After the graduation they never met until Kazuha's investigation of Korean killings around the neighborhood.

He wants to make sure that he is the only love in Hyodo's life to feel secure and get ridden of jealousy. Stubborn but lowers his guard when it comes to Hyodo. He believes in "charms."

Hyodo Itsuki (Seme) 

Hyodo, as called by many as well as by Kazuha, is a former classmate of Kazuha in Junior HS. Known as a notorious delinquent, the only person that  flipped him and put him down on his back is Kazuha which after that he couldn't restrain himself from following. Kazuha is regarded as his first love. After graduation he couldn't find him and ended up not enjoying his sex life with women. He admitted this to the ex-president when they met after many years.. He offered Kazuha information about the Korean killings where the latter was investigating - in exchange for sex. Of course he was denied but he managed to kiss Kazuha deeply that left the detective in an emotional dilemma.

Always caring about the safety of his beloved "food", he assigned his people to guard him. The first time he saved Kazuha was also his chance to tie him up in bed and feast on him the whole night.

Personally, he is a son of a mistress of a Yakuza Leader. His life is in danger from his 2 half-brothers.

A childhood revelation: When Hyodo was in Junior HS, he gave an "exam-passing charm" to Kazuha and in return asked for the 2nd button of his uniform after their graduation. He was neglected although Kazuha passed his exams. When they were lovers already, Kazuha gave him a "protection charm."

The beast of his life. Very male, well-built, undeniably hot. The "Lion" in his imagination.

His business is in the entertainment industry. 

I think it is also his hobby giving surprise visits at Kazuha's place. Sex with Kazuha is the main 'course' in his life. ^_^

This manga made my day!

Manga: Ake Nure Goyou ni Furu Yuki wa

Its English title is: "Staining the White Pine with Crimson Frosted Snow". It is a beautifully drawn manga that makes me want to go back to each pages to look at the characters faces and emotions - all over again. It is one of my fave works by Tomoki Hori sensei.

Aside from the fact that I love the characters making out/love in traditional clothes...it just makes the blood reach 110 degrees Celsius plus unstoppable nosebleed *fufufufu!* In this manga, I focus more on the 1st story because I like VERY bad guy with VERY good guy relation. ^_^ Anyhuuuu... I will also post character biographies from the other stories. It couldn't be helped since I'm doing this whole manga Bio - thingy.

I have to warn that if you're looking for hardcore stuff, this is not it. I recommend this to those who long for Yaoi "gentleness" and cannot hold back their tears. *quick emote mode* 
The best thing about this manga is that, I think for the 1st story characters, it has good development and all throughout the stories, the beautiful artwork is maintained by sensei.

This 1st story covers the first 3 chapters and the 6th chapter of the whole volume.

Shibata Yukihiro (Uke)

 He is the son of a famous grand Master of the Tea Ceremony but was born in an out of marriage love. His mother died when he was young and he was left in his own residence with his two caretakers; one of them is a former gang member whom his father took in. Yukihiro kun's father is still alive but he lives with his wife in another residence. He is waiting for the right time or right call (?) to be the "Master" of the family from his father. He longed for his dad and one time that he did not call that he's not coming to see him as planned, he did not eat his dinner and Kazuma kun had to follow him to his bedroom in outrage and insisted on him to give his dad a call to express his feelings and thoughts. Later on, they ended up both lying on his bed. *smirks*

Again on my top 5 "Gentlest Ukes"! , calm, kind, an introvert, naive at most times, wears japanese clothing most of the time because of his Tea Ceremony activity, and very "kawaii" in nature!

  Tea Ceremony. He mentioned at one time to Kazuma kun that he never liked it before because he could never understand it but he learned to love it through his father. 

He helps clean his residence. He easily get swayed by nature; loves to observe it. ^^

Kazuma (Seme)

 Kazuma kun, (sorry as I have no idea what is his 2nd name here), when he was a boy was scouted by a leader of a gang to be its member. He grew up and learned life through the "gang life". But when the "boss" died, he went out to find the killer and killed him , but also got himself shot. He run away after that and was found drenched in blood, on a winter night , by Yukihiro kun. The story about them is poetic because Sensei relates the meeting in a Winter scene with the color of blood. Yukihiro kun took him in and covered him from the Police. Kazuma kun met Miya san , who's also a former gang member and was taken in by the father of Yukihiro kun. 

He is very helpful in the kitchen, to Fukumi san, the old lady caretaker of the house. When he started living with Yukihiro kun, he was overwhelmed of the lifestyle in his household. He lived for a long time not acknowledging his own family so he hadn't imagined a  life outside the "gang". He respects  his "boss" strongly that he also considers him as his "father". With Yukihiro kun, he never imagined a life of "peace" could exist.

Before he met Yukihiro kun he was a member of a gang. But after his boss died, he became a fugitive and while healing at Yukihiro's residence, he helps clean and prepare food. He likes looking after Yukihiro kun. He gets to spend tea with him and able to see how he makes them. After he left the scene in chapter 3, it is not known what kind of job he found, even after he returned in chapter 6.
